Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon News Coming May 10

The first Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon news will be delivered on May 10, The Pokémon Company announced earlier today on their Japanese website.

Trainers in North America can catch the new information this Tuesday at 5 a.m. PT/ 8 a.m. ET. Pokémon developer Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda chimed in on Twitter to let fans know about the news.

It’s likely the info will arrive ahead of any leaks coming from the June 2016 CoroCoro Comic, which usually happens right around the same time.

Last month, Game Freak filed a trademark (related to software) for the name “ギガレキ,” or “Gigareki,” with the Japan Patent Office. This quickly fueled speculation among fans that “Gigareki” may be one of the Generation VII Pokémon for the forthcoming pair of games.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon is still set for a worldwide debut holiday 2016 on Nintendo 3DS.
